Website Checkout Not Working? Fix Checklist
A checkout failure can stop a ready buyer at the last step. The fastest repair usually starts by reproducing the exact buyer path, locating the first failing step and changing only the proven broken part.
Reproduce the exact buyer path
Open the public site in a private browser window and follow the same path as a real customer: product or service page, cart or order step, required buyer fields, payment step, permitted test payment if your provider supports it, success redirect and final confirmation. Write down the first point that does not behave as expected. 'Checkout is broken' is too broad; 'the payment button returns to the cart' or 'the success URL is a 404' is actionable.
Check the common failure points
Look for stale checkout links, JavaScript errors, disabled payment methods, incorrect shipping or tax requirements, currency or market mismatches, expired API or webhook credentials, broken success and cancel URLs, theme or plugin conflicts, and pages that work for a logged-in administrator but fail for a normal visitor. Check the payment provider's event history as well as the website logs when money and fulfillment state disagree.
Test mobile separately
A desktop checkout can pass while the mobile buyer path still fails because a button is covered, a modal cannot scroll, a required field is hidden or a redirect behaves differently. Repeat the full checkout path on a phone and verify the final payment action, return page and confirmation state.
Repair the smallest proven problem
Avoid rebuilding a whole storefront while revenue is blocked by one known fault. Capture the actual error first, patch the failing point, retest the full path and check for a regression before deployment. Account verification, payment-provider approval and owner-only settings can still require the account owner even when the website code itself is correct.
Use the guide to decide whether the fixed scope fits
The goal of this page is to make the first decision easier before checkout. If the problem or product idea fits the linked fixed-scope offer, the service page shows the included work and starting price. If it does not fit, do not force a larger project into the small offer.
The €49 starting price applies only to the fixed scope shown on the TAZERIS service page. A checkout failure caused by platform, payment-account or identity restrictions can require separate owner action.
