Etsy Fee, Profit & Target Price Calculator

Estimate what one Etsy order may leave after seller fees and the business costs you choose to include. The calculator also works backwards from your target profit margin to estimate the item price you would need.

Verify your own fees. Etsy payment processing and some charges vary by country, currency, account and transaction. The example fee fields below are fully editable so the result can match your actual setup.

When a simple calculator stops being enough

One order can look profitable while the product performs differently over a month because discounts, shipping, material changes, offsite ads, renewals and labor vary. A reusable product-level workbook makes it easier to compare listings instead of checking one order at a time.

How to read the result

Order revenue is the item revenue plus shipping you charge. Estimated seller fees apply your editable listing, transaction, processing and optional offsite-ad assumptions. Business costs include the materials, packaging, labor, shipping and overhead you entered. Profit is what remains after those categories.

The target-price calculation is useful when you know the margin you want but do not know what price can support it. It works backwards while keeping the percentage-based fees in the equation. If the requested margin plus percentage fees leaves no mathematical room for costs, the calculator will tell you instead of producing a misleading price.

Costs sellers commonly miss

Use your own fee settings rather than copying another seller's percentage. Country, currency, tax handling and payment-processing details can change the fee base even when two listings have the same item price.
